"Energy Scouts" honoured in Stuttgart

ebm-papst is one of 41 prize winners from the state of Baden-Württemberg in the "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas" competition. The fan specialist from Mulfingen was honoured in the "Environment" category for its "Energy Scouts" project at a ceremony at the New Palace (Neues Schloss) in Stuttgart. Silke Krebs, Baden-Württemberg Minister of State received the winners and presented the official plaques.

It is the fourth time that ebm-papst has been declared a "Selected Landmark in the Land of Ideas". After scoring with product innovations in recent years, the fan manufacturer entered the trainees project in this year's competition.

Equipped with high-sensitivity equipment such as thermal imaging cameras and compressed air testers, the ebm-papst Energy Scouts move around the company as part of the company's own "GreenTech" climate protection strategy, looking for energy savings potential. The project is now also operating at the St. Georgen factory and at the Hungarian factory in Sülysáp, near the capital Budapest.
