The Heilbronn-Franken regional competition for "Jugend forscht" takes place every year in spring. The numerous participants demonstrate that young people in the area have a strong innovative streak.
It’s great that so many young people in the region are interested in technology. As a technology company, we have to foster interest in natural sciences and technology as early as possible, which is why we also involve our trainees.
The aim of Germany’s most prominent youth competition is to get young people enthusiastic about maths, IT, science and technology while also discovering and nurturing talent in these fields.
Pupils, trainees and young students present their achievements to an expert jury and audience. The 15 to 21-year-olds compete in the “Youth Research” category with their projects. The younger participants take part in the "Students experiment" category. The winners of each division in the regional competitions travel to the state competition in Baden-Württemberg. If the jury from the “Jugend forscht” state competition decides that you deserve a place on the podium, you will go to the national competition to compete with the winners of the other state competitions.
