MCE Asia 2022 has concluded!
Let's review the highlights.

From 6th September to 8th September,
ebm‑papst SEA participated in Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2022.

MCE Asia

Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) Asia is the region’s leading trade community gathering for energy-efficient solutions in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and Renewable Energy. Designed for HVAC contractors, mechanical engineers, facility managers, system integrators, and plumbers, the event essentially showcases HVAC, Water, Electrical and Solar Technologies.

Event highlights

This year, we revamped our booth design. Clean lines, bold surfaces and repeated focus frames characterise the architecture. Get a closer look at our booth with our booth's digital twin and 360° booth tour.

Hear from our experts

Uwe Sigloch Head of Product Management

With the changing requirements in the RAC & IVT sectors, the demand for higher efficiency is stronger than ever. In this presentation, Mr. Uwe Sigloch, Head of Product Management of ebm‑papst, will unveil 2 latest ebm‑papst fan technology and products – the pressure-resistant axial fan AxiEco in expanded sizes and FanDrive 280, which helps to elevate your ventilation systems efficiency to the next level.

AxiEco 630-910mm:

The AxiEco axial fan has been successfully launched in the market for two years. The series has now been expanded to include sizes 630, 800, and 910 which makes air flows of over 25,000 m³/h and pressures of up to 700 Pa possible and is suitable for multiple applications in chillers and evaporators, industrial process cooling, data centers, and mobile refrigeration technology, etc.

FanDrive DV280:

For the first time, the new, most powerful Electronically Commutated (EC) motor, FanDrive DV280, used in the large RadiPac sizes, can also be acquired on its own for applications with large air volumes. This allows users the flexibility of selecting their preferred impellers and fan casings while reaping the full benefits of ebm‑papst’s highly efficient EC technology.

With the global push towards net zero carbon emissions, obtaining energy efficiency and lowering power consumption is a key priority in most buildings & facilities management. And this is especially so for the ventilation and air conditioning systems as in AHUs, the fans are the largest power consumers. On top of this are other stringent requirements to have the noise levels kept at an optimum level, ease of installation & use, and cover a broad power spectrum in order to have more power reserves. Is there a fan system that can address all these requirements? Undoubtedly, the answer is yes. In this presentation, hear from Mr. Uwe Sigloch, Head of Product Management of ebm‑papst, how ebm‑papst revolutionary RadiPac3 with Active PFC can help you achieve a new benchmark of efficiency.

In this short interview, our Head of Product Management, Mr. Uwe Sigloch, briefly explains the latest ventilation technology by ebm‑papst. Following that, our IoT engineers (Mr. Marcel Laubner and Mr. Brian Wong) introduce viewers to our new smart building management technologies. These technologies were featured at booth A-A06 at MCE Asia 2022 (housed in BEX Asia) in September 2022.

Featured new innovations:
RadiPac Gen 3, AxiEco & FanDrive DV280

According to the latest forecasts from the World Meteorological Organization, the earth is heating up faster than expected. This makes efficient air conditioning more important than ever and presents you with ever greater challenges: How do you meet the strict legal requirements without compromises? How do you get high pressure, ice formation, noise and energy losses under control?

The good news: We have long since asked all these questions, reinventing the impeller and developing intelligent solutions that you can use to fulfill the highest requirements in the future. For example, the new RadiPac, which is always a benchmark, as well as the pressure-resistant AxiEco series, which makes chillers even more efficient and even comes in large sizes of up to 910 mm.

In addition, we also featured the FanDrive DV280. FanDrive DV280 can be acquired on its own for applications with large air volumes. This offers users the flexibility of selecting their preferred impellers and fan casings while reaping the full benefits of ebm‑papst’s highly efficient EC technology.
