Dr. Daniel Boese

Executive Vice President Global Transition

He studied Physics at the University of Karlsruhe and the University of Texas in Austin, TX, USA.

He promoted in Theoretical Physics.

In 2002 he became a consultant for McKinsey & Comp. in Munich and Stuttgart. He finally became a junior partner with focus on clients from the industrial high tech and the semiconductor industries.

In 2009 he joined Festo SE & Co. KG in Esslingen where he was in charge for strategy, M&A, corporate controlling, etc. His last position was Chairman of the Board of Directors for Festo Didactic SE.

From 2018 to 2021 he was Chief Executive Officer of the AKAD University, Baden-Wurttemberg’s largest privately held university.

Since 2022 he is Executive Vice President Global Transition for the ebm‑papst Group.
