Since 2014, Stifterverband has awarded this seal of approval to research and development companies in recognition of their efforts as drivers of innovation. “We are pleased to receive this award for the second time. This year, too, we view the seal of approval as an incentive to increase our involvement in research and development and to further strengthen our technology leadership with innovations,” said Dr. Bruno Lindl, Managing Director of Research and Development at the ebm-papst Group. ebm-papst invests millions in research and development every year to strengthen its technology leadership and bring innovations to market. The company also cooperates with numerous universities and research institutes to create new and especially innovative products. One of these innovations, which was developed during work on a master’s thesis by an employee in electronics development at ebm-papst, was recently awarded the Heilbronn-Franconia region’s prize for young entrepreneurs. With its award, which is valid for two years, Stifterverband honors “companies that show an extraordinary commitment to research and development.” Its objective is to acknowledge companies that help with their independent research and innovative products to promote and improve Germany’s educational and research environment.
