The following trainees received their testimonials and certificates during a celebratory ceremony: Sandro Schwer (industrial mechanic), Alexander Fleig (mechatronics engineer), Marvin Scholz (electronics technician for devices and systems), Aylin Peynirci (industrial clerk), Fabian Mayer (IT clerk), Raffael Ganter (mechatronics engineer) und Pascal Bösinger (electronics technician for devices and systems). They were pleased to have completed their training and looked forward to starting their professional life. The testimonials and certificates were handed over by Wolfgang Beyer (HR Manager), Iris Steidinger (Commercial Apprenticeship Trainer) and Hansjörg Kaltenbrunner (Training Manager) together with a small gift. HR Manager Wolfgang Beyer commented: “We are delighted that we have once again successfully completed training more specialists this year. Well-trained employees are a success factor for the sustainable success of a company.” He also praised the high degree of commitment and competence of the trainers, who made a major contribution to this success. ebm-papst is regarded as a model company for training in the region – and for good cause. For the trainees, completion of their apprenticeships marks the beginning of a new and interesting phase in their lives, as well as the possibility of further development in their profession. In addition to the certificates, two trainees received a special distinction from the IHK (the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) for good performance. Mr Schwer received a prize and Mr Bösinger received a commendation. The apprentices thanked their trainers for their wonderful time as apprentices and for the years of instruction they received. At ebm-papst, there are currently 37 apprentices undergoing vocational training at the St. Georgen site – 21 in the industrial and technical field, 9 in the commercial field and 7 in an integrated degree program. All apprenticeship vacancies have already been filled for the training year commencing in September. The application phase for apprenticeships for 2018 is currently under way.
