During this time, ebm-papst St. Georgen (approx. €350 million turnover / 1 500 staff), together with the plants in Herbolzheim and Lauf, grew and developed into the technologically leading manufacturer of fans and drive systems, mainly for the automotive industry and the mechanical engineering sector. ebm-papst shareholders and the advisory board wish to thank Mr. Schallock for having made ebm-papst St. Georgen develop so successfully and are sorry to see him go. Effective as of 1 March 2017, Mr. Raymond Engelbrecht (45) has been appointed to the executive board of ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co. KG, which in future shall have a dual leadership. For the past 4 years, Mr. Engelbrecht has been responsible for the production facilities of the subsidiary in the Black Forest as division manager. Since 2016, Mr. Engelbrecht, who holds a diploma in economics, has also been entrusted with the position of CFO and deputy CEO. About Raymond Engelbrecht Raymond Engelbrecht, born in Windsor/England, studied economics at Freiburg University. He started his professional career with the L-Bank Karlsruhe in their IT division. After 15 years with the Beiersdorf Group, having held various management positions both in Germany and abroad in Finance and Supply Chain, he joined ebm-papst St. Georgen as division manager for production. Since 2016, Mr. Engelbrecht, who holds a diploma in economics, has also been entrusted with the position of CFO and deputy CEO at epS. Mr. Engelbrecht and his wife, together with their three children, live in Gengenbach.
