Quality Reliability Engineer

Department: Quality/ESG
Location: Farmington, CT

In this role you will lead all Quality aspects for projects and pull in Supplier Quality and Operational Quality when needed. You will have oversight into the APQP process and facilitate FMEA activities. We consider these value-added tasks because they help keep our production costs down by preventing interruptions. You will also conduct a variety of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis tasks, identifying potential risks to our operations and developing corrective actions. You will contribute to our design engineering and continual improvement process and help strengthen the overall reliability of our products. Key Tasks include Project Quality Coordination; APQP Oversight; Design/Development Reliability Support; RMA Analysis; Warranty Projections.

  • Ensure the reliability of equipment and processes by conducting a variety of failure analyses, including root cause, Weibull, and fault tree analysis.
  • Identify risks to products and develop corrective actions to support the continual improvement process.
  • Lead the development and execution of the strategy to integrate DFR (design for reliability) throughout the product development cycle, from initial concept through market launch, as a key member of all project teams.
